The TED talks are unique. The basic principle is to invite a specialist in a field to come talk about something for a half an hour. About a year ago they started making the talks available on the internet.
Personally, I find just about everything fascinating, so the TED talks are like an eight year old discovering there’s been a playground in her backyard her entire life.
