By the way today is the first day of spring! Even if it is a dirty rotten lie, I still urge you to go balance an egg. Wow/embarrass your children! Impress/bore your friends!

Begs the question: Are we more concerned with our own brand of righteousness or bringing people into a relationship with Christ? Because if all the church has become is an effective self-help plan or an arbiter of a new form of righteousness we clearly missing the point. Has anyone run into this kind of thinking before?
