Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping were recently highlighted in a film by Morgan Spurlock (director and star of Super Size Me). I’ve known about the Reverend for a few years and was very intrigued by this movie, but since it’s release has been quite limited it might be a while until that happens.
Reverend Billy’s shtick is a twisted amalgamation of evangelical rhetoric and humor.
