Mark Roberts has a great series of posts up about the ancient city of Ephesus and the New Testament-pictures, maps, and commentary to provide context for Ephesus and the apostle Paul’s ministry there. Very useful information to go along with the Biblical accounts-I found Mark’s posts about the goddess Artemis and her cult’s clash with Christianity especially interesting. Mark’s series would make good reference material for a Bible study discussion.
