Ok I could not figure out how I got associated with feed blitz and why they always seem to have a joke at the top. Then I see Mikey’s name and it all makes sense!! LOL

I’m not sure how to respond. As someone who also experienced the “trauma” of the film as a kid, I can appreciate some of the humor and the issue of mixed interpretation of Scripture.

On the other hand, he seems to be making fun of the idea of doing a deep study of the Word to see what God does say about the end times (Christ’s physical second coming is one of the fundamentals of the faith).

Also, I hope we don’t for a minute make fun of the idea of a passion to see people saved.

Hope I’m not overreacting, but…

This reminds me of my 12 year old son. He couldn’t sleep after seeing left behind. I am sure a lot of these thoughts were going through his head.
I don’t see this as disrespectfull or anything of the sort. I just see it as funny. Funny because it causes me to reflect on thoughts I have had myself at times.
