Ruth Graham, wife of Reverend—and revered—evangelist Billy Graham is in a coma and “close to death” a family spokesperson announced. (See ABC News story.)
Ruth’s grace and charm provided a wonderful example of what a minister’s spouse -or any Christian-should be.

Amen and amen – the daughter of medical missionaries, the wife of a pastor and the mother of strong, independent children, witty and always in a supporting role. She is one of those pebbles generatin ripples (influence) that spread over ages. Won’t it be wonderful to hear the story in eternity?

If she goes home soon, she will be dearly missed here but I know heaven will rejoice. What a Godly woman! She’s been a Prov. 31 woman and that is rare to find!!

thank God for Ruth Graham! As she rests in her bed, may she feel the Lord’s peaceful presence and may each person who visits her be ministered to, especially her husband, Billy. He loves her so much and I’m so thankful for their living testimonies.

I believe that being a preacher’s wife is one of the most demanding and challenging tasks that the Lord can give a woman. Ruth Graham was an example for all women married to men in the ministry, a woman of grace and compassion who radiated love for her Lord and for her husband. My prayers are with her family now, as they both grieve and rejoice to know that Ruth has “entered into the joy of the Lord”.

Oh ma goodness! its as if she is already dead!!
I know many people consider illness a blessing/ a trial, to mention but a few.. idont wish to condemn them but why not go to heaven alive and healthy?
I would rather be aged 90 and above, with all my strength(and or teeth), and perfectly healthy, previously told by my LORD who i have served for all those decades, that i will be going home.
I would then call all my friends and family to my sitting room area for coffee and snacks, lay my hands upon them, and bless them as well as exhort them in What i believe, pray for other sick guys and heal them in the Name of Jesus Christ, climb up the stairs for the very last time, smile and close my eyes!
Therefore, instead of us speaking of how good momma Ruth was, why not pray for her strength to be restored, and that all around her can be blest one last time, and say goodbye. I think that will leave a better testimony! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!!
