God in the foxhole

Newsweek is running a lengthy piece about faith on the frontlines, looking at how chaplains and soldiers practice their faith while serving on the battlefield in Iraq. It seems that religion in the U.S. military usually only comes up in the news when there’s a scandal involved, so it’s good to get a glimpse at day-to-day faith as it’s practiced in the midst of war.
