Surprisingly you aren’t getting much response to this posting. We are American Idol fans (surely wish they’d picked a different name for the show!). The guilty fun of seeing Simon Cowell mow over people’s feelings is usually offset by the amazing strength of some of the young performers. Really enjoying seeing the young Christian performers – odd that Lakisha Jones wasn’t mentioned in the list of 4 – apparently she doesn’t meet some criteria of the listmakers but she apparently has worked for a church and sung in the choir a great deal. With all the violent, sexually degrading things on tv – we like so called reality tv because real life people can rise to the occasion (or not in the case of some performers!). Thanks for sharing the links – BTW – Go Chris Sligh – condemning him for not staying with his “Christian Roots” – I kind of think that is under the category of go where God sends you.
