Introducing Jesus

Imagine if you had to introduce Christ before a huge crowd of people. How would you do it? What would you say?

Check out this video of Steve Harvey demonstrating how he would introduce Christ. What do you think of the way he did it?

well, other than the fact that Bethlehem isn’t in Jerusalem, this was AWESOME!!! I seriously had chills. The man loves Jesus, and it’s evident.

Amen and way to go! Love the Lord with everything – give Him the honor and glory – Steve Harvey just went up about 50 points in my personal rating system of entertainers. THANKS for sharing that – I have tears in my eyes and a grin on my face.

That’s a great introduction! It’s probably not what I would have said but it was evident that it was from the heart and to see the love of God in that room made me cry.

The only thing is this… This stand-up-and-talk evangelism does not work anymore. People wouldn’t listen to the message if the messanger is talking at them and not with them. Presenting the message of Christ is different to whoever you present it to. Not that the message changes, no that would be heresy, but rather how you present it changes. If you were presenting Christ to a sociology and history person you would present Christ’s universal message differently than you would an urban teenager who is living on the streets. What do you think?

We watched this at church many weeks ago and I’ve wanted to look this up and I am so glad I found it! Thanks for showing us that some of the stars do know Jesus!
