What’s disturbing about this, though hilarious, is that I’m not sure how off it is in regards to real worship music/hymns. Modern church culture is rather obsessed about how WE give to the Lord, how WE interact with him and about how WE life His name on high (as if it wasn’t risen on its own). I exalt me, indeed…

Words don’t exist that express what I feel. This hit home, yes in a humourous way, but indeed what does it say about the state of the body of Christ? It is sad and frightening and humourous all at once which disturbs me even more.
